Signoff Studio Docs
FAQ
Is Signoff Studio free?
Yes — the Windows app and VS Code extension are free. Check testapilocally.com and qasignoff.com for current offers.
Where is my data stored?
On disk in your workspace folder (default under Documents on Windows). Nothing is required to sync to a Signoff cloud account.
Windows app vs VS Code extension?
Same API / Runner / DB product UI. Windows adds Git workbench, richer Settings, installer/auto-update, and better always-on monitors. See the Parity & gap report.
Does the scheduler run in the background when I close the app?
No. Monitors run only while Signoff Studio (desktop window or VS Code webview) stays open. Keep the Windows app running for local schedules.
Is NTLM supported?
Not yet. The auth picker may show NTLM, but it is unsupported — use Bearer, Basic, API key, OAuth, SigV4, or Hawk instead.
Can I import Postman collections?
Yes — plus Bruno, Hoppscotch, Insomnia, Thunder Client, OpenAPI/Swagger, cURL, and native Signoff. See Import & export.
How do I run collections in CI?
Use the CLI:
npm run runner -- run -c ./collection.signoff.json -e ./ci.env.json --reporters junit -o ./out
See MCP & CLI.
